The Pleasure of Getting Dirty takes a full day, across workshops, performances and concerts, to return to the tangible, the sticky, the living. Away from the polish of screens and algorithmic perfection.
๏น๏น๏น๏น๏นOn the second floor of Metarage, covered in tarps with buckets of water scattered around, around twenty artists from Brussels and beyond explore dirt as a playground, a place of surprise and creativity.
๏น๏น๏น๏น๏นThe day is orchestrated by Andrรฉe Chapatte (aka Chantilly), who builds the events as one continuous flow: in the afternoon, workshops activate the audience (pogo, slow dance, collective creations); in the early evening, performances and actions accumulate layers of dirt in the space; at night, concerts and DJ sets carry the experience into a "Dirty on the Dancefloor" energy.
